QlothMe ("we", "us", "our") operates qlothme.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
Account data — your email address and display name when you sign up.
QR content — the content you add to your modes: links, menu items, event details, form questions, and so on.
Scan analytics — when someone scans your QR code we log the date, approximate country, and device type. We do not log IP addresses or personally identifiable scanner information.
Billing data — processed entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never raw card numbers.
How we use it
To provide the service — serve your scan pages, power your dashboard, process billing. To send transactional emails — account confirmation, password reset, payment receipts. To show you scan analytics in your dashboard.
We do not sell your data. We do not send marketing emails without consent. We do not share data with third parties except as needed to operate the service (Stripe for billing, Supabase for database hosting).
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Data retention
Your account data is kept while your account is active. After deletion, data is removed within 30 days. Scan analytics are retained for 12 months. Cancelled subscriptions retain QR content for 90 days before deletion.
Your rights
You can export or delete your account at any time from your account settings. For any other requests contact us at [email protected].
By using QlothMe you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
QlothMe provides dynamic QR code management software as a subscription service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
Your account
You must provide accurate information when signing up. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You must be 18 or older to use the service. One account per person — do not share accounts.
Acceptable use
You must not use QlothMe to distribute malware, phishing links, or harmful content via your QR codes; violate any applicable law; infringe on intellectual property; harass, abuse, or harm others; or scrape or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules without notice.
Subscription and billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. You can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the paid period. No refunds for partial periods unless required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days notice.
Your content
You own the content you add to your QR codes. You grant us a licence to store and serve it as part of the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime or service interruptions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QlothMe is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
